Tour Overview

Rural part of Rajasthan forms the basic unit of its heritage and culture because every art, language, culture, festival, food and style of clothing set its very primal foot and begins with Indian villages. In the 17 days tour cultural villages like Khimsar, Khuri, Chittor and Mukundgarh will showcase the hard core rural ambience of Rajasthan’s culture. Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: Delhi Arrival : Your arrival at Delhi International Airport will be greeted and coordinated up by the tour manager of Rajasthan Tour Taxi. You will get transferred to the hotel with a chauffeur driven car and spend rest of the day at leisure followed by overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi- Mukundgarh : The City of Jhunjhunu has many small towns and Mukundgarh which is the core part of Shekhawati reason with the notable haveli of Ghaneriwala and Kanoria is the first destination of this tour plan. These havelies belongs to the rich merchants who invested labour of skilled artist and architects to make this place look like not less than a lavish Palace.

Day 03: Mukundgarh- Khimsar :  You will arrive at Khimsar with the help of driver and your day tour at Khimsar will be escorted by the tour manager who will give you detailed account on the important places like Khimsar Haveli and Khimsar Fort. Khimsar has its close ties with the city of Jodhpur as it was established by the son of Rao Jodha the son of founder of Jodhpur. Hence the lavishness and royal display of the lifestyle is quite evident being similar with that of Jodhpur.

After day tour, stay overnight at the hotel in Khimsar.

Day 04: Khimsar- Pokaran- Jaisalmer : On your way to Jaisalmer, you will pass by the Pokaran and visit Pokaran Fort this place is famous being  the nuclear testing site of India.

Upon arrival at Jaisalmer, get freshen up and spend rest of the day at your leisure

Day 05: Jaisalmer Sightseeing : After breakfast at the hotel get ready for the sightseeing of the Golden City. Salim Singh ki haveli, Patwa Haveli, Gadisar Lake and Sonar Fort will be the main attraction of the day.

Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 06: Jaisalmer – Khuri : Today adorable village life showcasing close ties with the core culture and heritage of Rajasthan, Khuri village welcome your arrival. This place is considered best to understand and experience the life of people in the extreme geographical situations and how they have developed a lifestyle, thousands of travellers around the world pay a visit just to watch how life is like at this place.

The houses are made out of using mud and grass and people are engaged in basic occupations like cattle rearing, handicraft items and entertainment (folk dance in music) and this is how life is going on this area since past four generations.

After the heritage walk of the village come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Khuri – Jodhpur : Saying goodbye to the heritage life of Khuri get ready to explore the Blue City- Jodhpur. The city is the iconic symbol of Mewar region and why it is called as Blue City because of the royal culture and the colour of houses mostly painted with blue colour.

Upon arrival, freshen up and get ready to explore city’s heritage monuments like Mehrangarh Fort, Ummaid Bhawan, Bal Samand Lake and Jaswant Thada Evening at leisure. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 08: Jodhpur – Rohet – Ghanerao : Situated in the Pali district of Jodhpur Rohet is another site which is known for its heritage life. The secluded place with few shurbs surrounded with desert can be best viewed and experienced with a horse ride experience, available at your option.
Letter on proceed for Ghanerao, another place filled with adventurous experiences and worth for a sightseeing trip.

The places of attraction at Ghanerao are Mahaveer Jain Temple and Ghanerao Castle which date around 1020 CE that leaves all its visitors awe-struck being so old yet captivating. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Ghanerao- Udaipur : After breakfast get ready to drive for the Lake City- Udaipur, known for its majestic  artificial lakes and the palace situated in between the lake making it look like a studded jewelry box taking a beauty bath in breezy waters.

Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing : The city tour will start after breakfast at the hotel and you will set out to explore the marvelous places like the City Palace, Jag Mandir, Monsoon Palace, Saheliyon ki Badi, and Lake Pichola.  Every nook and corner the city is naturally beautiful the backdrop of beautiful lakes like Fateh Sagar, Dudh Talai and Udai Sagar Lake.

Rest of the day after the city tour will be at leisure followed by night stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur – Chittor – Bijaipur : To explore mighty historic capital of Mewar situated in Chittorgarh, check out from the hotel after breakfast. This place has its special mention in the books of history of Rajasthan as the soldiers of this land who fought under the leadership of Maharana Pratap- the great Warrior of Chittor, get themselves bonded in the folk songs of the Rajasthan.

Knowing the history behind this place especially with regard to Rani Padmavati and exploring iconic monuments like the fort, palaces, temple and Vijay Stambh is of special importance.

After Chittor day tour, you will proceed for the nearby Bijaipur where your stay will be scheduled at Castle Bijaipur.

Day 12: Bijapur – Pushkar : The holy site of Pushkar will be explored on the 12th day where the Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and the pond will be the attraction of the day tour and evening will be spend at the holy pond where evening Aarti with all chimes of mantra and holy water will make a memorable evening of your life.

Overnight stay at Pushkar in the hotel.

Day 13: Pushkar – Jaipur : After breakfast at the hotel proceed for Jaipur and get ready to explore the most iconic places and monuments of Jaipur that will include places like Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Govind Dev Ji Temple.

Starting the day with Amer Fort ride will take you through the detailed tour of this massive monument with your tour manager and coming back towards the Walled City, a short halt Jal Mahal is worth for grabbing the photographs of the Summer Retreat of Maharaja. The first monument in the walled city is Hawa Mahal known for its architecture consisting 957 small windows making it look like studded peacock feather when seen from the street.

Then proceed towards City Palace which is the present residence of the royal family but apart from the Chandra Mahal the entire Palace is open for public along with the museum. After touring Jantar Mantar and Govind Dev Ji temple you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 14: Jaipur – Bhandrej : The village of Bhandrej is of a special attraction for those who are looking forward to peek into the true heritage lifestyle rural Rajasthan. Being here, terracotta vessels, terracotta handicraft, scriptures and lattice work on various artifacts can be seen as how prepared.

The Bada Baoli Stepwells belonging to 1732 AD is quite an attraction.

Overnight stay at Bhandrej.

Day 15: Bhandrej – Bharatpur – Agra :  Today Keola Devi Bird Sanctuary will welcome your arrival with its pleasant site full of amazing migratory birds coming from across the globe as to their favorite spot. Thousands of bird lovers gather at this place to hold the site and grab the beauty of nature.

After bird Sanctuary visit proceed towards Agra touring Fatehpur Sikri enroute.

Stay overnight at the hotel in Agra

Day 16: Agra Sightseeing :  After getting freshen up at the hotel you will set out to explore the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itimad-Ud-Daulah and the iconic city itself. The day at Agra will begin with a guided sunrise tour of Taj Mahal with the escorting manager as he will take you through the splendid history of this iconic monument uncovering other parts like Itimad-Ud-Daula, Pearl Mosque and Mehtab Bagh and then, you will then proceed for Agra Fort.

The Agra Fort is massive and constructed using red sandstone using beautiful intrinsic architectural designs inside the as well as the grand entrance known as Lahore Gate reflects the glory of Mughal era.

Later in the day you will get transferred to Delhi by road and stay overnight.

Day 17: Delhi Departure : After breakfast at the hotel, some more of Delhi will be covered before finally getting you transferred to the airport for boarding your flight to home carrying amazing memories of the tour.
